  • What are the return eligibility requirements?

    To ensure your rights are protected and to provide a smooth shopping experience, please read the following terms and conditions regarding returns and exchanges carefully before submitting an application.

    7-Day Appreciation Period Policy

    • Right of Rescission: In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act of the Republic of China (Taiwan), individual consumers purchasing online (excluding customized products) are entitled to a 7-day appreciation period (also known as a cooling-off period) starting from the day after the product is delivered.

    • Inspection, Not Trial: The appreciation period is intended for you to evaluate the product, not to test or use it. Please inspect the product immediately upon receipt for completeness or defects.

    • Return Conditions: Returned items must be in brand-new condition and in their original packaging (including the main product, accessories, internal/external packaging, manuals, and gifts). Your right to return may be affected if the product has been used, damaged, or is incomplete.

    • Time Limit: All return or exchange requests must be submitted within the 7-day appreciation period. Requests made after this period will not be accepted.


    1. Company Liability / Product Defects

    If you discover any of the following within 7 days of receipt, please have your original invoice ready and contact customer service immediately. We will arrange a free return service, and you will not incur any shipping costs.

    • The product received does not match your order due to our operational error.

    • The product has obvious defects or was damaged during transit.

    • Accessories within the packaging are missing.


    2. Returns for Personal Reasons

    If you wish to return a product for personal reasons (e.g., ordering the wrong item, change of mind), please apply within the 7-day period and adhere to the following:

    • Product Status: Items must be brand new, unused, and in complete packaging.

    • Packaging Requirements: Please do not stick shipping labels or write directly on the product's original packaging. Use a separate, clean cardboard box to wrap the item to prevent damage to the original box.

    • Shipping Costs: For returns due to personal reasons, the buyer is responsible for both the initial and return shipping fees.

    • Limitations: If the returned item shows signs of human use, missing parts, or damaged packaging that prevents resale, we reserve the right to charge a refurbishment fee or reject the return application after assessment.


    3. Defective Product Inspection Process

    Per manufacturer regulations, certain products must be sent back for inspection to determine the cause of the defect.

    • Inspection Time: This process takes several business days. We will contact you regarding the follow-up as soon as the results are available.

    • Determination & Fees:

      • Dead on Arrival (DOA): If reported within 7 days and confirmed as an inherent defect by the manufacturer, all related shipping costs will be covered by Suntelest Materials.

      • Human-Induced Damage: If the damage is determined to be caused by human factors, the buyer must cover all round-trip shipping, inspection, and repair fees, regardless of whether the 7-day period has expired.

    Return Policy and Terms

    Please be advised that we will be unable to process your return if any of the following conditions apply:

    • Exceeding the Return Period: Requests made after the 7-day inspection period (starting from the date of delivery) will not be accepted.

    • Incomplete Product Status: This includes damaged packaging, defaced or damaged products, missing accessories, or any condition where the product cannot be restored to its original "as-new" state for resale.

    • Mismatched Return Items: If the returned items do not match the original order details, your return rights will be affected.

    • Missing or Incomplete Invoice: If the original invoice is lost and the invoice number cannot be provided for verification, or if the electronic invoice is not returned with the goods (any subsequent mailing costs shall be borne by the customer).

    • Failure to Return Within Deadline: Once a return request is accepted by customer service, the items must be sent to the designated location within three working days. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your application.

    • Logistics Pickup Failure: If we arrange a courier for pickup and they are unable to collect the items after three attempts due to reasons on your end, we reserve the right to cancel your return/exchange eligibility.


    Special Note Non-Returnable Items

    According to relevant regulations, the following items are of a special nature and cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason once shipped (unless the product itself is defective):

    1. Customized Products: Any products tailored or processed to your specifications, such as wires or heat-shrink tubes cut to length, or components repackaged into specific quantities.

    2. Unsealed Electronic Components: Items where unsealing affects quality or raises concerns regarding storage and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection. This includes ICs, semiconductor chips, and passive components removed from their original ESD bags, vacuum packaging, or reels.

    3. Specifically Marked Items: Products clearly marked on the webpage as "Non-returnable" or "Special Order (Custom-ordered) Items."

    4. Consumables and One-time Use Items: Including but not limited to cut-to-length wires, batteries, headphones, gloves, electronic/measuring instruments (replacement for the same model only if defective), tools (if used/marked), and electronic components that have been soldered (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Arduino modules, capacitors, resistors).

    5. Specific Repair Items: Certain items (such as red-shell step-up/down transformers) that, if found defective, can only be sent back to the factory for repair and cannot be replaced with a new unit.


    Special Terms for B2B (Business-to-Business) Customers

    Transactions between business entities are commercial in nature and, following standard business practices, the 7-day "Right of Withdrawal" (cooling-off period) under the Consumer Protection Act does not apply.

    • Inspection Reminder: Please inspect your goods immediately upon receipt. If you find defects, incorrect items, or quantity discrepancies, you must contact our customer service team within three days of delivery. We cannot accept return applications after this three-day window.

    • Return Restrictions: Unless the product has a defect attributable to Centenary Materials, returns or exchanges due to customer-side reasons (e.g., ordering the wrong model, design changes, purchasing errors, or project cancellations) will not be accepted.


    Testing and Fees

    All returned products must undergo inspection by our team or the original manufacturer.

    • Buyer’s Responsibility: If damage is determined to be caused by human factors (regardless of whether it's within the 3-day window), all derived costs (including shipping, testing, and repair fees) shall be borne by the buyer.

    • Centenary Materials’ Responsibility: If a defect is reported within the 3-day inspection period and confirmed by the manufacturer as a "Dead on Arrival" (DOA) or factory defect, Centenary Materials Co., Ltd. will cover the shipping costs.

    By submitting a purchase order, you agree to Centenary Materials Co., Ltd.' return, refund, and exchange policies, and authorize us to handle invoice cancellations and related follow-up matters on your behalf.

    1. Return via Prepaid Courier/Postal Bag: For small items, we will send you a "Convenient Bag" or a dedicated shipping bag with prepaid postage. Please pack the item securely and drop it off at a designated location or hand it over to the courier as instructed.

    2. Scheduled Pickup Service: For large or specific items, we will coordinate with our partner logistics company to pick up the return from your specified address during standard business hours. We appreciate your cooperation in this process.
